World Wear Project bin
Have you ever noticed that big blue bin in front of the school? It's a fundraiser for Sigler. Items accepted are shoes, clothing, belts, purses, wallets, hats, caps, backpacks, stuffed animals, hard toys and pots and pans.
You can reduce the amount of textile products going into landfills. Clothing that is stained, torn or worn out will be recycled into wiping rags, paper, yarn, insulation and carpet padding.
Although this is not a PTA project, we share this information as part of environmental education. Funds raised directly benefit Sigler Elementary.
Each month, Plano ISD's Family Education and Guidance Services provides free workshops for Plano families. Click herefor October's schedule.
