Computers @Home:  Plano ISD offers a unique Computers@Home program to help increase academic achievement by providing a home computer system to students. This program is completely free to all eligible students, and may require parents to attend educational training sessions.  For more information, click here:

Collin County Adult Literacy Council- many free or low-cost English as a Second Language classes


Hope's Door-Domestic violence services, free of charge and strictly confidential.


Journey of Hope-The mission of Journey of Hope Grief Support Center is to provide support at no cost for children, teens, young adults and their families as they learn to mourn the death or impending death of their loved one in a safe, caring and nurturing environment.


IDEAS-Impacting Dyslexia Education Awareness and Support


Medical Center of Plano offers many free or low-cost seminars for the family.


New Beginning Center-where life without domestic violence begins.


Plano Children's Medical Clinic-payment accepted includes Medicaid and CHIP, by appointment only. Sliding payment scale for those without insurance.


Plano ISD Free Summer Meal Program-There are no income requirements or registration for any child to receive a free meal.


Plano ISD Family Education and Guidance Services-Parenting, ESL Classes, and GED classes in English and Spanish for adults.


Plano Multicultural Outreach Roundtable


Plano Public Library System-free puppet shows, science exhibits, build a robot, and more!


Samaritan Inn-homeless shelter located in McKinney.


Smoke Alarm Assistance-free smoke alarms for low income families, assistance for the elderly and disabled, and help changing batteries.

This Side Up! Family Center-free family connection nights and low cost Date Nights/Single Parent Night Out (free child care 1 Sat. a month). You must register to attend date nights.
